So Much For Nuclear Deterrence

Iraq was invaded precisely for having nuclear weapons, and North Korea is facing the same fate.

Now, barely electrified North Korea might not have them in actual fact.

Nor, after all, did highly developed Iraq, a country unrecognisable from the wasteland that occupies the same space 14 years later.

But that is beside the point.

Most countries do not have nuclear weapons, nor does anyone suggest, honestly or otherwise, that they do.

When was the last time that almost any of them was invaded, or threatened with invasion?
