The Open Society And Its Enemies?

Every Government in decades has wanted Britain, first to become, and then to remain, the most open economy in the world.

However open an economy is, then that is how open its society, culture and polity will be.

We will take money from pretty much anyone, sell pretty much any quantity of pretty much anything to pretty much anywhere, and buy pretty much any quantity of pretty much anything from pretty much anywhere.

Therefore, we will also take pretty much any number of people from pretty much anywhere, bringing with them whatever their political interests and influences may be.

From the Calais Jungle, to both Alexander Litvinenko and his "probable" assassins, that is the deal.

  1. Argentina has confirmed that Jeremy Corbyn is a traitor to Britain.

They've gone so far as to call him "one of ours."

    The Guardian reports:

""Argentina’s outgoing ambassador to London, Alicia Castro, said the Labour leader “shares our concerns” and “he is one of ours”.

    I need say no more.

    1. You might as well have said that about Margaret Thatcher, who wanted a leaseback and who had absolutely no intention of asking the Islanders about it.

You might as well say it about the entire Foreign Office to this day.

The complete failure of the Tories to make any headway with this story speaks for itself. They thought that it would be huge, and it just isn't.
