Dei Donum?

Three cheers for Lesley Brennan.

Under any other circumstances, Labour would require candidates to hand back money that had been made in the ways that Tony Blair makes his.

Brennan now needs to ask Stewart Hosie about his party's financial relationship with the transport privatisation profiteer Brian Souter, whose company has just acquired a 90 per cent stake in the East Coast Main Line.

People concentrate on Souter's views on sexual matters. But those are held at every level of all political parties, without predominating in any of them.

What matters is that Souter made and makes his money out of the privatisation and deregulation of our public transport infrastructure.

Out of that money, he funds the SNP.

Out of that money, he funds Stewart Hosie.

Stewart Hosie, whose Labour opponent, Lesley Brennan, has refused to be funded by Tony Blair.

Over to the RMT to make up the loss.
