The banks were not "too big to fail". Like, for example, the East Coast Main Line in the past and in the future, they were too important to fail.
But no television programme is either of those things.
And nobody, but nobody, is bigger than the BBC.
I wish both he and that Leftwing "director of television"-whom the Mail was having fun laughing at this week-would get a plane to America. His wife is apparently a "postergirl of the Left". No wonder the Beeb employed him.
