Putting The Lib Dems To Bed

They have voted to keep the Bedroom Tax. Away with them.

People who got caught up in what was then the New Left, and their offspring who grew up in it, are not a very plebeian lot.

That said, most of them manage to endure the company of the Old Left, the trade unions and Labour municipal machines (networks that are by no means always fraternally inclined towards each other), rather than preferring even Whig oligarchs and libertarian pamphleteers in order to avoid such company.

Likewise, most Whig oligarchs and libertarian pamphleteers manage to endure the company of Faith, Flag and Family Tories, a tendency which has had absolutely no influence over the Whig-cum-libertarian Conservative Party since time immemorial. They certainly do not associate instead with people who got caught up in what was then the New Left, and with their offspring who grew up in it.

They have all voted to keep the Bedroom Tax. Away with the lot of them.
