Quite so.
America has these defensively useless moral monstrosities, and has them in abundance. (Britain, in point of fact, does not. We have a small number of America's, and pay an eye-watering sum of money for the privilege). During the last cycle, a Presidential candidate promised to use them against nuclear-free Iran, where there are more women than men at university and where there is reserved parliamentary representation for Jews, if so instructed by Saudi, Kuwaiti and Emirati paymasters whose woman-friendliness and Jew-friendliness are not exactly notable.
