Am I the only person who, on hearing the name "Keir Starmer" yesterday and today, half thought that he had heard "Kenneth Starr"?

I don't know how you've missed this one, old student Trot trying to bring down Parliament in alliance with Monday Club paper trying to drive out people who need paying. But your Telegraph blogging account still works so I suppose you are still part of the family there as well as on the left.
The pro-life, pro-family, pro-worker and anti-war voice of an economically social democratic, morally and socially conservative patriotism towards the North of England, the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and Christendom. One Nation politics, with an equal emphasis on the One and on the Nation. Conservationist, not environmentalist. Far too conservative to be capitalist, far too left-wing to be liberal.

I do think that Starmer's past may have something to do with all of this, especially when it comes to who has been picked on and who hasn't.
