Otherwise, it will be what appears to be a student site, and is certainly, though nice enough, rather light.

Political prisoner, activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach", eagerly awaiting the second (or possibly third) attempt to murder me.

ReplyDeleteThat award website hasn't even managed to spell Iain Dale's name right. Hardly seems worhtwhile.

ReplyDeleteHi, just for the record Created in Birmingham's not a student site (well, one contributor is a student, but she only posted a few times).
ReplyDeleteIt's a site dedicated to shining a light on the oft-overlooked parts of Birmingham's creative and artistic scene. Because of the impact it's had in the city (esp in terms of supporting independents and smaller orgs) it has a pretty strong and loyal following.
Which is lucky, because with a comparatively small platform for getting our voice out to the decision makers in this city, winning an award like this would mean an awful lot to us.
Well, it looks as if you are going to manage it.
ReplyDeleteBut keep voting for Neil, people.
