Hyacinth

That is how (the screamingly camp) George Osborne should be known after his glorious interview with Jeremy Paxman last night, the highlight of which (although it is a tough call - the ridiculous little junkie and erstwhile conspirator to commit criminal damage and assault was spectacularly torn to pieces) was Paxman's description of him as "the man who walks behind the horse with a bucket". So, Hyacinth Bucket it is from now on.

Bring back Ken Clarke? More than anything, that would show up just how preposterous and out of their depth the Bullingdon Boys and their wannabes are. Cameron would be gone by the end of the summer recess, and possibly by Easter. And Hyacinth would be gone pretty much overnight.

  1. I don't see any way the Tories would change leaders with the election coming up so fast, unless they were way behind. This is a shame because Cameron has clearly decapitated the party & put people who have no qualities but being linked to him in charge.

I agree that Ken Clarke would make a very good chancellor who would wipe the floor with Brown (& Darling but that hardly matters) & if they don't use him they run the risk of seizing defeat from the jaws of victory since Osbournes economic competence is, rightly, not respected.

Personally I think Redwood would make a better chancellor but he doesn't have the charisma which Clarke has & which is needed in an election.

  2. Lol.

He did not do too much better on the national news where he refused to acknowledge his redistribution of the 8 billion as cuts to what he would otherwise spend.

    Richard!!.....
