Over In A Tice?

Tim Montgomerie supports Keir Starmer on Ukraine. But then, in terms of deploying British "peacekeepers", so does Donald Trump. The same Trump who is interfering in due process and a fair trial both in Romania and in Britain in the interests of Andrew Tate. Reform UK is riding high. But with a majority of the Government's size, then there is no reason why this should be anything less than a full-term Parliament. Who knows where Ukraine will be by then? Or the Tates?

Since it is impossible to see which Democrat could beat him, the President of the United States by then will be JD Vance. Trump does not endorse Reform; where Britain is concerned, he is frankly a Labour supporter. But Vance is beyond that. Richard Tice is one of more than 50 MPs who have come out in favour of the replacement of High Court oversight of assisted suicide with "expert panels". Vance would actively denounce a party that tolerated such a Deputy Leader. And Nigel Farage wants Ukraine in NATO, so simply by being on the ballot paper, Trumpian opponents of that war could take enough votes to deprive Reform of hundreds of seats that it might otherwise have won.

Ridiculous nonsense. You know nothing about politics if you don’t understand that political leaders have to say nice things about their allies in public. But he has nothing in common with Labour and its leading figures-notably Peter Mandelson and David Lammy-have publicly insulted Trump in the most gratuitous terms in recent years and no serious person thinks they’ve suddenly changed their minds.
