The Veil of the White Horse?

Covered in blood, the white horse ran amok though the streets of the capital city. It has been a long time since some of us did the Apocalyptic literature. But we still know it when we see it. Yet within the citadel, there was torpor. Oliver Dowden is a bad student Tory Boy speaker. It is no wonder that we hardly see him. He is the most obscure Deputy Prime Minister ever, and deservedly so.

Conservative backbenchers cheered each others' questions, but when Dowden said anything, then the comatose would have made more noise. How many of them could name him? Not least, when Mhairi Black called for an end to arms sales to Israel after the discovery of the mass graves at two Gaza hospitals, Hertsmere Dowden's Israel First spiel was met with total silence. The plates are shifting.

As Mossad brazenly tweets that its facial recognition technology will limit the employment opportunities of American citizens who had exercised their First Amendment rights in the United States, and as the whole TikTok business descends into farce, even the ferociously pro-Israeli Jewish communal bodies in Britain have gleefully thrown Gideon Falter under the bus. A comment on a previous post reminded me of a feature on The Word called The Hopefuls, with the catchphrase, "I'll do anything to be on television." That is where this stunt merchant belongs. Along with Laurence Fox, who has uploaded a video of himself abusing a Police Officer. Arrest both Fox and Falter.

Meanwhile, Diane Abbott still wants the Labour whip. After a year, what is the Labour Party investigating? As much as anything else, she apologised at the time. But why is she bothering? Very few MPs need their party less than it needs them, but she and Jeremy Corbyn would each be the First Past the Post as Independents, and they know it. The kiddies in the Labour Party office, under a Leader who may be in his sixties but is only nine years in politics, do not have a clue.

Is anyone apart from Keir Starmer keeping this going? Are the Irish? Are the Jews? Are the Gypsies? The usual Irish, Jewish and Gypsy representatives need to be asked directly about this case. Starmer just wants rid of Abbott so that he can install some ghastly clone at Hackney North and Stoke Newington. The then staffer whom the Forde Report found to have called her an Angry Black Woman should be the Labour candidate against her, or stand exposed for cowardice as well.

Meanwhile, Starmer is supporting the unrepentant Gypsy-baiter, Kim McGuinness. The victory of Jamie Driscoll will light the General Election touchpaper for Abbott and Corbyn, for Andrew Feinstein and Leanne Mohamad, for Independents wherever the Workers Party of Britain did not stand, and for that party, which has fully supported Jamie unlike the Greens, where it did. Do not be deceived by Labour talk of renationalising the railways. Left to itself, then it would no more do that than the Conservatives would, or than either of them would ever ban section 21 "no-fault" evictions.

But when I tell you that there is going to be a hung Parliament, then you can take that to the bank. I spent the 2005 Parliament saying that it was psephologically impossible for the Heir to Blair's Conservative Party to win an overall majority. I predicted a hung Parliament on the day that the 2017 General Election was called, and I stuck to that, entirely alone, all the way up to the publication of the exit poll eight long weeks later. And on the day that Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister, I predicted that a General Election between him and Starmer would result in a hung Parliament.

I have no plan to join the Workers Party, although nor would I expect to stand against it. If, however, it did not contest North Durham, then I would. To strengthen families and communities by securing economic equality and international peace through the democratic political control of the means to those ends, including national and parliamentary sovereignty, we need to hold the balance of power. Owing nothing to either main party, we must be open to the better offer. There does, however, need to be a better offer. Not a lesser evil, which in any case the Labour Party is not. We have made a start.

  2. Dowden is 45, he looks 10 years older and acts 25 years younger.

    1. He was thought of as an attack dog when he worked for David Cameron. An attack mouse, more like.
