Peter Bone, who is not ruling himself out as a candidate at the Wellingborough by-election, came into Parliament specially to vote for the Rwanda Bill, even though there was never the slightest chance that it might have been lost. It is now or never, Nigel Farage. Your credibility depends upon it.
Peter Hitchens is of course correct about Farage and drugs. He was also born in the same year as Bone was, and Bone at least had every intention of defending his seat at the next General Election until a complaint was made against him. Hitchens ought therefore to undertake that he would contest this by-election if Farage did. Again, it is now or never. His credibility depends upon it.
It'll be a Labour gain.
ReplyDeleteAnd there will be plenty of fun to be had with that, too.
DeleteHitchens hasn't said no to this.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it will take someone on the ground to persuade him?
