How's About That, Then?

Keir Starmer has had it far too easy, especially when one remembers what was heaped on his predecessor for five years, and indeed continues to be so.

Whatever the paper trail may show, there is no way that the decision not to charge a close and knighted friend both of Prince Charles and of Margaret Thatcher, a man whose fame may have been a bit faded by 2009 but had been astronomical in its day, was made by anyone other than the Director of Public Prosecutions.

In any case, the DPP is responsible for the Crown Prosecution Service, and Starmer's "experience" in that regard has been the only selling point of that totally inexperienced politician.

Far from apologising, Boris Johnson needs to be merciless and relentless in pursuing this line, not least in relation to the forthcoming by-election at Birmingham Erdington, where in 2019 the Conservative Party lost by only 3,601 votes to the husband of Harriet Harman of the Paedophile Information Exchange.

  1. You're going to be making a thing of this at the General Election, aren't you?
