Of course the Canadian New Democratic Party wants to hear from Jeremy Corbyn. Why ever not? The people who wrote the EHRC report have been sacked by the Tories. The Government has appointed a new Chair of the EHRC who rejects the IHRA Definition on which that report was based.
The penny has dropped that signing up to things like the Board of Deputies means losing every other ethnic minority, in a country that is now ethnically diverse down to every ward. The Labour Party still has not twigged, but who cares about the Labour Party? Today, among the working-class voters who decide General Elections, YouGov has Labour on 27 per cent to the Conservatives' 52, a gap of 25 points.
Corbyn's problem was always that he did not stand up to people. He could have beaten this whole thing, which the Tories have now abandoned. As for his technically not being a Labour MP at the moment, he is denied the Whip purely in order to stop him from winning back the Leadership, as he certainly would.
