Allegra Stratton has been confirmed as the new Downing Street Press Secretary. Just the ticket for dealing with questions from her husband, and from her former colleagues both at the BBC and at ITV.
Party allegiances vary, but the socially liberal economic Right is the position of practically all media types in private. You did know that, didn't you? I mean, didn't you?
It is not even only in private. People are complaining about what the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail "have become", and in the same vein Corbyn supporters used to post furious comments under Guardian articles. But when have those papers ever not been like that?
Each paper has the odd couple of columnists to give the appearance of difference, but most Mail or Telegraph readers think that The Guardian is different because they never read it, and vice versa. They would not think that if they did.
