Even prior to renationalisation, foreign companies that ran our transport and our utilities, and which are in fact very often foreign states, must be banned by Statute from charging more in this country than was charged for the same thing, most obviously a journey over the same distance, in their own respective countries.
We can make this happen. Another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. I will stand for this parliamentary seat of North West Durham, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign.
