By today, 4th January, the average FTSE 100 boss has already "earned" the average annual salary of £28,758.
We need a statutory ban on any company's paying any employee or contractor more than 10 times what it paid any other employee or contractor.
We need a statutory insistence on a binding vote of the shareholders before any increase in executive pay.
And we need a statutory requirement of German-style elected workers' representatives on Boards of Directors.
Let those proposals be brought to the floor of the House of Commons in this hung Parliament.
