I still don't see Corbyn winning, but he would be an awful lot more popular than the next Leader of the Conservative Party, George Osborne, who is just a thoroughly unlikeable person.
Unless it is Boris Johnson, who is a buffoon, and a buffoon who could not win or even hold any seat, any seat at all, on the Union side of the Mason-Dixon Line that runs from the Wash to the Bristol Channel.
The Farron win has necessitated a tack to the left. Kendall, in particular, is out of the race as of today.
Look at the Miliband policies that Osborne is either implementing or pretending to implement. The pity is that he never demanded more.
Even if Labour lost in 2020, then it could expect between a third and half of its manifesto to be implemented, anyway.
That seems to be what the Tories have decided that they are for. So that manifesto might as well go all out.
The implementation of even a fraction of it, as would certainly be done by the Tories regardless of the content, would in any case have been as much as any Labour Government would ever have attempted in practice, and possibly more.
