Weapons Grade

The problem does not seem to be that Syria has chemical weapons. Oh, no. The problem is that - shock! horror! - she might use them to repel a foreign invasion of her territory.

Even if those weapons were not deployed, the people seeking so to repel would not be given their name, the Syrian Army. Oh, no, again. They would be called "insurgents" or something. I have a feeling that we have been here before.

But we have been warned. Syria has chemical weapons. And if we place our boots on her soil in order to turn her from a pluralist state into an Islamist one, then she will use them against us. If that happens, then we shall have only ourselves to blame.
