Brought To Book

The galleys are in at last. I might have a glass of something tonight.

We still await Rod's preface, but failing that he can always submit something to the rather stellar collection in response being organised quite spontaneously by another glittering ornament of this blog roll, and which is apparently almost as eagerly anticipated as the great tome itself.

On with the next three it is, then.

  1. Neocons called forth paleocons.

Neo-Labour is now calling forth paleo-Labour, with you in the vanguard.

But when will the neo-Tories call forth the paleo-Tories?

  3. The question is whether Kamm’s latest protégé will be given it to review by either of the papers for which he now freelances while he remains obedient to his new master.

But Kamm hasn’t written a book for seven years, and it was torn to pieces by Neil Clark. In his own paper!

What a silly boy, to have transferred allegiance from you to him. He’ll learn.

  4. Rod is a much more important figure there than Kamm is.

  6. Which Rod? You have one for the UK edition and one for the US edition. Both much more famous than Kammo will ever be.

  7. I sometimes think that they should do a television programme entitled The Two Rods, commenting on the news from behind their twin desks, and concluding with "It's good night from me, and it's good night from him."

    But on topic, please.
