Hands Off Iran

The world’s only nuclear state with an outstanding threat of a nuclear strike against a non-nuclear state, that state’s intelligence agency which steals the identities of British Citizens in order to carry out acts of international terrorism, a Ba’athist terrorist organisation which patriotically moved to Saddam Hussein’s Iraq after he had invaded their own Iran, and a Sunni Islamist terrorist organisation as heavily American-backed as ever such things have been in Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya and elsewhere. Yep, it all sounds utterly reliable to me.

You will not con us into war against Iran. What next? Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Any threat to Britain from those weapons even if they had existed? A link between Iraq and the attacks of 11th September 2011? A link between Afghanistan and those attacks? Any threat to Britain from Iranian nuclear weapons even if they existed? It is in fact you who have given an Islamist regime an arsenal of chemical weapons in Libya, facing France and Italy across the Mediterranean and perfectly placed to wipe staunchly Anglophile, devoutly Catholic Malta off the map. I hope that you are very, very, very proud indeed.
