Greek Tragedy? Or Farce?

Whom did Newsnight find to make the case for the Euro, not that it matters what he was saying? Him.

Complaints should be directed to the BBC. I mean that. They really should be, in the strongest possible terms.

I didn't actually say his name.

"Complaints should be directed to the BBC."

Why? Hasn't he got a righjt to free speech and hasn't the BBC got a right to invite him?

Rights and their responsible excercise are two different things.

Could they really not find anyone else? I suppose not. And that says a very great deal.

I don't understand that. Why shouldn't Kamm say what he likes and Newsnight invite him? What's "irresponsibile" about it?

Follow the link. Who else with this sort of record would they treat as a credible interviewee?

Why would a Times leader writer with a professional background in finance and economics and a longterm interest in continental European politics not be qualified to discuss the Euro on Newsnight?

Your link doesn't provide an answer, or anything even close to one.

It does. Shame on The Times for employing such a person.
