Statuesque

Bill Clinton has unveiled a statue of himself in Pristina, "capital" of the non-existent state of Kosovo. Perhaps he should traverse the earth unveiling statues of himself in every corner that he bombed? It would keep the old monster going until he died. And who paid for this statue? Presumably not Serbia's Catholic Archdiocese, Chief Rabbinate, Roma leaders, Council of Imams, or leaders of the ethnic Albanian community, all of whom denounced the Kosovar UDI in the strongest possible terms.

  1. Amusingly the small village of Ballybunion in County Kerry has a statue (outside the Garda station)of Clinton playing golf. I remarked to a local shopkeeper that Clinton would be pleased as the statue was a very slimline version of him.
Apparently the Ballybunion statue is modelled on a local resident.
Congrats to the worlds newest nation Kosovo.
As a family member were in UN service there, I feel a deep sense of achievement.
