Time To Quit Iraq

Hell, even the puppet government there now says so.

That same puppet is doing absolutely nothing to protect the very ancient Christian community, which before 2003 accounted for about one eighth of the population, but which is now subject to systematic genocide, along with several smaller minorities which, likewise, do not seem to exist as far as we are concerned.

Instead, we are doing as we did in Yugoslavia. The Kurds, like the Bosniak Muslims, are saintly beyond description or question. The Shi'ite Arabs, like the Croats, are sort of all right. And the Sunni Arabs (to whom the Christians were broadly allied before we took out Saddam and allowed in Wahhabism instead), like the Serbs, are the Spawn of Satan.

But it was not remotely like that then.

And it is not remotely like that now.
