Still A Dragon To Slay

By eight to one, the one being Lucy Powell, the relevant subcommittee of the very considerably larger National Executive Committee of the Labour Party has voted to block Andy Burnham from contesting the Gorton and Denton by-election.

But any Labour candidate will be a member of the same party as Peter Mandelson of Jeffrey Epstein infamy, and a member of the same party as Tony Blair of Donald Trump's Board of Peace. George Galloway should still stand.

  1. Starmer has sealed his fate by running scared of Andy Burnham and blocking him becoming an MP on the way to becoming leader. Once you show fear and weakness, the game is up.

    1. "You can't be a Labour MP if you aspire to be Prime Minister" is just mad. But George has endorsed Councillor Shahbaz Sarwar of Longsight, a ward of the constituency.

  2. Starmer's now only there because Burnham isn't, Badenoch should never stop saying that.
