Vote For Lucas Wainwright


One of the better-dressed young men of this parish who regard me as a sartorial icon, so well worth supporting.

He would in fact be the second such in succession to hold the office. That is as it should be.

    Yet another generation with you as "a sartorial icon" to half the lads and an intellectual guru to all of them, it's happened in every context you've turned up in over the years.

      I believe the technical term is "a safeguarding risk". Radicalisation? Damn right.

      Actually, Lucas and I have only ever talked about suits. A good lad, though. I know his family and he has a remarkable backstory. Well worth a vote.

      Well, asking is a good start, which he did. Going to Mass with me, and being related to people with whom I went to school and to people who taught me, also did him no harm. But saying how much he admired my suits, now that was the clincher.
