Which Came First?

It is good that it might now be possible to end the destruction of millions of male chicks every year. But that does rather focus the mind that you are a full vegan or you are an omnivore.

Might it one day be possible to do something similar with calves? I hope not. Veal is delicious. Like everything else, provided that it is humanely reared and slaughtered, then feel no guilt about eating it.

    1. Of what? Shooting and fishing are much more humane, and the meat is much healthier and tastier, than broiler chicken and industrial fish farming.

While it is the law, then the hunting ban must be enforced as the law. But I cannot see what making it the law has achieved. It was enacted in 2003, the High Blair years. Indeed, Tony Blair and Hilary Armstrong, neither of whom voted for it in the end, used it to buy votes for the Iraq War. As Chesterton said, wherever there is animal worship, there is human sacrifice. Still, while the ban is the law, then it must be enforced as the law.
