Following its relatively strong showing at the last General Election, the SDLP is flexing its muscles. Seeking to censure Michelle O'Neil and Conor Murphy is no joke.
On both sides of the Border, Sinn Féin's opponents know that the more attention to Bobby Storey's funeral, the better.
Storey's coffin was borne to its rest by Gerry Adams, Martin Ferris, Sean Hughes, Gerry Kelly, Martin "Duckster" Lynch, and Sean "Spike" Murray. At any given time, there are seven members of the Army Council.
And of those seven including the deceased, only Ferris was from the 26 County State of which the Army Council stood, and stands, on the cusp of taking control.
