Like Edward Snowden, Julian Assange would probably be a nightmare to be stuck in a lift with. And one would have hoped for better reasons for today's ruling. But this is still a glorious day.
The point is especially well-made that mainstream newspapers published Assange's material without adverse consequence; indeed, doing so made the name of The Guardian in the United States.
Now for Presidential pardons for Assange and Snowden in these last days of the possibility. Then on to Assange's Nobel Peace Prize.
And as a Commonwealth citizen resident in the United Kingdom, he is eligible to stand for the House of Commons. The MP for Holborn and St Pancras revels in his role in this torture. Let battle commence.
