We Won't Be Starmered

If Boris Johnson wanted a proper split screen moment as Keir Starmer came to the stage to accept the Leadership of the Labour Party, then he would take that opportunity to announce the release of Julian Assange.

Anyone who doubts that the Crown Prosecution Service is quite the integral part of the right-wing Labour machine that I say it is should consider that its fairly recent Director is in the process of coronation as Tony Blair's puppet Labour Leader.

Not only that, but at least one man will now be at liberty until the day he dies because the CPS failed to construct a strong enough case to convict him of 95 deaths, in order to ensure that Rupert Murdoch would not obstruct Starmer's path to the Premiership. 95 unlawfully killed Northern plebs were neither here nor there.

Here along the old Red Wall, that has been the one party in our one-party state for longer than anyone can remember. In casting it off at the recent General Election, and in preparing to do so at the earliest municipal opportunities, we have no intention of merely exchanging one one-party state for another.

The Conservatives must face the competition in which they profess to believe, and Labour, which stands no chance of ever again winning an overall majority, must be made to know that it will only ever return to office on our terms.

Therefore, ours is the 2020 Vision of a new political party, a new think tank, a new weekly newspaper, a new fortnightly satirical magazine, a new monthly cultural review, a new quarterly academic journal, and so much else besides.

I will be standing for Parliament again here at North West Durham next time, so please give generously. In any event, please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
