Whatever the Clintons might be saying today, George Bush the Elder was hated by the neoconservatives and by the "liberal interventionists".
That was because he had refused to carry on to Baghdad and overthrow Saddam Hussein.
We now know the never-endingly chaotic and catastrophic consequences of that overthrow.
They were wrong, and he was right.
