Right Now

Other than Stephen Lloyd and perhaps one or two others, all non-Conservative MPs were always going to vote against the Government on Brexit.

So there did not need to be any Conservative rebels at all. Half of those whom there will be, will be irreconcilable Remainers.

And in total, there will be nothing like the 103 that are currently being mooted in certain hysterical circles. Don't be silly.

But the main point is that, since all non-Conservative MPs were going to vote against the Brexit deal, then there did not need to be any Conservative rebels at all.

There could still be none, and the Government would still lose.

Right now, in 2018, "the Tory Right", like UKIP, matters less than the SDP. Think on.
