Making It Work

John Smith promised that employment rights would begin with employment, and apply regardless of the number of hours worked. But in 13 years, New Labour never even managed that.

Over, then, to Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell. Or, in the meantime, to Theresa May. But either would face extreme hostility to this from large sections of their own parliamentary party, although more so on the Labour side.
