Who Is Britain?

By intervening directly, Benjamin Netanyahu has thrown into sharp relief the question of why he considers it so important to retain control of one of Britain's main political parties and to regain control of the other.

Unless he is permanently deprived of both, then we shall end up like the America that is exposed by Sacha Baron Cohen's Who Is America? character, Erran Morad.

Anyone who so much as insinuates a connection to Mossad or the IDF is given access to anyone they choose in the Republican Party and its wider subculture, and is able to make those people do anything they please, down to and including the baring of an elected representative's backside on camera.

Even a figure of the seniority of Dick Cheney has allowed himself to be recorded discussing the potential waterboarding of his own wife if he suspected her of infidelity, and has then agreed to autograph a "waterboarding kit".

Do we want to end up like that? In the Conservative Party and on the Labour Right, they probably already have. Only Jeremy Corbyn, for all his faults, stands in the way of the complete hegemony of this kind of thing.

But much of Corbyn's party remains very much part of the problem. Therefore, we need our people to hold the balance of power in the next hung Parliament. I need £10,000 in order to stand for Parliament with any chance of winning.
