      Increasingly the way, of course. Youth is well and truly lost when one tends to see people at funerals.

      I was very sorry not to be there. A lot on, alas. But with Joe's having been such a big figure, and with the need to bring people from Canada and so on, there is long enough to fit his into my diary, among so very, very, very many other people's.
