The Conservative candidate called Pat Glass a liar. If she does not know the ways of saying that without saying it, then she is clearly unsuitable for Parliament.
Pat said that she would have resigned as a PPS and from chairing a Parliamentary Labour Party committee if there had been a whip to vote in any way other than against any military intervention in Syria.
Pat called for the NHS to be "national, publicly owned, and publicly run."
The Conservative, Lib Dem, Green and UKIP candidates all expressed themselves in favour of assisted suicide. But drawing on her experience in special needs education, Pat called that "a very dangerous route to go down."
I shall say that again. The Conservative, Lib Dem, Green and UKIP candidates are all now on the public record in favour of assisted suicide, while Pat is now on the public record that she would vote against it.
None of the other life issues came up.
