Political prisoner, activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach", eagerly awaiting the second (or possibly third) attempt to murder me.
What's your beef with him?
ReplyDeleteMost people have never even heard of him.
Much to my delight.
ReplyDeleteKamm tried to get your byline changed on the London Progressive Journal (Bryan Gould, George Monbiot, Peter Tatchell and other obscure figures) and they told him to fuck off, adding for good measure that they had never heard of him.
ReplyDeleteWhy did he do that?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the obsession?
I do not treat him with the deference that he has inexplicably come to expect.
ReplyDeletePlease do not swear on my blog.
Why is either Kamm or Aaronovitch still allowed in polite society but the people who were right all along are still nowhere to be seen?
ReplyDeleteWell, indeed. But Kelvin MacKenzie still gets the gigs, so why not them? Admittedly, they are complicit in the deaths of far more people.
ReplyDeleteI opposed the Iraq war but it's unfair to say its supporters are complicit in the deaths of people.
ReplyDeleteAs unfair as saying you are complicit in Saddam Hussein's and Assad's murders of their own people if you didn't support the wars to remove them.
No, that does not follow at all.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does. If you know what they do, but campaign to leave them in a position to continue doing it, then you are complicit in what they do.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's fair and nor is it fair to smear all those who supported intervention as murderers.
No, that is Sixth Form stuff, and not even very good Sixth Form stuff.
ReplyDeleteDoes David Aaronovitch know?
ReplyDeleteYes. It was all done on Twitter.
