The eclipse was always going to be a damp squib after the death of Bonnie Tyler.
In the heady days of Early Corbynism, there was an attempt to launch an alternative to The Sun called, ho ho, The Eclipse.
The only ever edition was distributed free on Tyneside in November 2017. It featured an "Alternative Page Three" of a mother breastfeeding her baby. I am not making this up.
