Dragons To Slay

A Very Happy Saint George's Day to all of his many patronages, from the City of Moscow, to both Lebanon and the City of Beirut, to Bulgaria. Having marched even beyond the Litani, so that no one could tell where it might ever stop, Israel now occupies a larger proportion of Lebanon than Russia does of Ukraine, so, as much as anything else, Lebanon should be given Israel's place in the Eurovision Song Contest.

And in Bulgaria, the floor has been wiped with the fake liberal-Rightist duoply by a party of the kind that was called "left-wing populist", "left-wing nationalist", and "economically left-wing but socially conservative". "But"? There is no "but" about it. Rumen Radev might have something to say about Péter Magyar's stated aim to make Viktor Orbán President of the European Commission. The fake liberal-Rightist duoply, indeed. Quite how Magyar's British cheerleaders would react would on its own be worth making that appointment.
