Matt Finish?

From 2005 onwards, I predicted a hung Parliament in 2010. I alone predicted the hung Parliament in 2017, and I did so from the day that that General Election was called. Like everyone else, I mistakenly predicted a Labour win in 2015. All that I can say about 2024 is that a hung Parliament would indeed have reflected the votes cast, but yes, I was wrong that time. A mixed record, then, including at least one example of having been uniquely right. And I admit the mistakes.

Contrast that with Professor Matthew Goodwin. Speaking at the LSE on the day of the Brexit referendum, he predicted that Remain would win by two points. Later that year, he said that Donald Trump "would most likely fail". It was in 2000 that Goodwin predicted that Trump would win. Perhaps he believes that he really did? In March 2024, Goodwin falsely wrote in The Sun that in 2016 he had predicted both Leave's victory and Trump's. On the stump, someone should ask him about all of those things. He is answering the questions now.

  1. Who is Reform’s latest candidate?

Matt Goodwin dedicated his entire career to defeating the “far-right”. He advised the Home Office, local councils, the CIA, the Open Society Foundation, the Council of Europe, and many other globalist organisations.

He coauthored hundreds of papers as an academic about the European “far-right” and you can go back and watch clips of him from the early 2010’s describing how to defeat the BNP and EDL.

He literally wrote the paper (with intelligence connected Chatham House) on how to defeat what he deemed “Populist Extremists Parties” which included strategies to infiltrate and control them i.e. controlled opposition.

He has worked with Hope Not Hate and Baroness Sayeeda Warsi and used to be an adviser to Ed Miliband as Labour leader.

He doesn’t believe demographic replacement is a problem and he has come out against the mass deportation of people in Britain legally including the families of Pakistani rapists.

Matt Goodwin is the antithesis of what Reform should be. His selection confirms that Reform are controlled opposition. If you vote for him you are voting for guaranteed betrayal.
