NATO and the EU may be showing themselves yet again in Romania, but I would have loved to have been able to explain to their British enthusiasts that they supported the potential for our Armed Forces personnel to be under the command of officers who were ultimately subject to Călin Georgescu, and that they wanted this country to be subject to a legislative body that had him or his appointee on it.
Georgescu does not believe that the Moon landings took place, nor that water is H20, but he does believe that there are nanochips in carbonated drinks, and that he met a "non-human" at the United Nations. The Constitutional Court of Romania is a bench of spoilsports.
But rather worse than that is Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham. Yet as that adds Homs to Aleppo, then it is said to have "moved away from its Islamist roots". What would it have become if it reached Damascus? And if it is now "nationalist", then which nation would that be? There is scarcely a Syrian or an Arab in it. It is run by Turkey. A member of NATO.
Absolute silence from Reform and Farage on Syria.
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump says that Syria is "not our fight", but Reform has to keep in with the Israel Firsters on Fleet Street and GB News.
