Last time, I had to sit all day in Consett Wetherspoons to collect enough signatures to put me on the ballot paper. This time, I had only to go to church.
Benediction after Mass was just what we all needed. The Epiphany on anything other than the day after Twelfth Night was obviously absurd, and the Ascension on anything other than the fortieth day after Easter was both unbiblical and innumerate. But Corpus Christi on a Sunday does kind of work. Doesn't it? Comments are open.
