If the Chinese really do have nuclear-capable hypersonic missiles, then so much for the aircraft carriers that we have sent into their vicinity as some kind of display of virility.
Clearly, and while there is mercifully no obligation to like it, we do need to stay on the right side of the Chinese. Thankfully, there is no reason why we should not.
Those aircraft carriers are sitting ducks.
