Neighbourhood Plan

The Lanchester Neighbourhood Plan is to be put to a referendum on Thursday 6th May, the same days as the County and Parish Council elections. The question is, “Do you want Durham County Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Lanchester to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?” 

This Plan has been many years in the making, and if agreed then it would have force for 15 years. It would apply to two controversial planning applications that were being dealt with at the moment. I shall be voting Yes, and I urge you to do likewise.
