Charlotte Nichols has a Politics degree from Liverpool, which has one of the best Politics Departments in the country. "I'm not racist, I'm just thick" does not cut it.
Although I am sure that this was not her motivation, Nichols moved to the top of the hierarchy of race by converting to Judaism. As the late Rabbi Lionel Blue once said to me, "You only have to look at us to see that we are all the descendants of converts." The same line appears in his published autobiography. Whereas you cannot convert out of being GRT, any more than you can convert out of being black, or convert out of being Palestinian. Nor, of course, can you convert out of being Jewish as far as anti-Semites are concerned.
By her conversion, Nichols acquired the Right of Return, making her a beneficiary of the Nation-State Law from the moment of its enactment. Keir Starmer has expressed his openness to a Nation-State Law in Britain. We already know who would be excluded from that. Blacks. Muslims. Gypsies, Roma and Travellers. There may be more to come, as the full beastliness of Starmerism became apparent.
And all to be enforced by the likes of Ben Hannam, empowered by the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act alongside the Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Act, with the Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Act lurking in the background. Hannam did not slip through the net. It is perfectly clear from recent events, first on Clapham Common and then in Bristol and elsewhere, that he had been actively recruited precisely because of who and what he was. That was proved beyond any possible doubt by yesterday's decision to bail him after his having been convicted both of being a terrorist and of being a child pornographer.
Today, Marine Le Pen resigned the Leadership of the Rassemblement National, which she had set up after having expelled her father from the Front National, because even that still carried too much baggage ever to carry her to the Presidency, while its supporters and the surviving fans of the old man presumably had to vote for her out of the sheer absence of anyone else. But Starmer and Nichols are moving in the opposite direction. Labour is seeking to take the ground in Britain that Le Pen is vacating in France. In claiming that institutional and structural racism do not exist, this Government is bad. But the Official Opposition is far, far worse.
