They won the General Election, so why should they not appoint Paul Dacre as Chairman of Ofcom? If you would rather have Seumas Milne, then you should try winning a General Election.
But if you would rather have Alastair Campbell, then you should just get lost. Your social circle, as one might euphemistically call it, is not uniquely entitled to all public appointments.
How about David Lindsay as Chairman of Ofcom?
ReplyDeleteI pity public school people. They run the risk of being called to these things. I don't know how they sleep, knowing that one day they might be told that it was now their duty to become Prime Minister.
