Of course the Russian authorities diverted the tiresome circus of Alexei Navalny, a circus that is only ever staged by foreigners, for foreigners. Next to no one in Russia has ever heard of him.
Navalny represents the kind of politics that the likes of Joe Biden, Keir Starmer and Emanuel Macron wish that the voters of Russia would prefer. But they do not. Navalny's successive vehicles have never succeeded in electing anyone, and the latest is lucky to hit two per cent in the opinion polls.
If you believe Navalny's latest claims, then you are simply not a functioning adult. And if Vladimir Putin had wanted him dead, then he would have been dead. A bullet in the head. None of your Novichok, which clearly does not work.
