Rude Health

The NHS has the imperfections of any human institution. But fundamentally, it works well and should be left alone. Most people in this country would and do take that view. Yet no Government has done so for decades. You see, the people who have ended up in and around every Government for decades have devoted their lives to avoiding any contact with most people in this country.

    Just read your comment on Janet Daley's latest effort, saying people who want an NHS should move to America where they are going to get one right when we lose ours. "There would not be the room for all of us in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland." Brilliant. Keep up the good work.
