Right All Along, Again

First the Kosovo Blackshirts, and now the killing of two White British jihadis by an American drone in Afghanistan.

Kosovo was Islamised by mass, really rather recent immigration. But Albania, like Bosnia and Herzegovina (although neither has ever had a Muslim majority), is a story as different as the former strongholds of Christendom in Asia Minor, Mesopotamia, the Levant and North Africa. Or present-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Northern India.

Some attention is being paid, not before time, to the spread of Islam among Afro-Caribbeans in Britain. But there are not very many of them in absolute terms, and at least they regard themselves as reverts, correctly or incorrectly identifying Islam as the faith of their ancestors. The elephant in the room is the spread of Oedipal Islam among the White British.

  1. A while ago I read an article about white, Southern Evangelicals turning to Islam in places like Texas. I wonder if this is a reaction to the seeming impotence of Christianity in the face of the decadence of the secular West. Just one more reason for Christians to emphasize our own tradition against usury, against animal cruelty, against anti-poor economic policies, etc., as Mr. Lindsay has written about so eloquently on this blog.
