It is being suggested that because of the regime in Syria before the one that was now sentencing people to 60 lashes, the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence might impede or imperil the Five Eyes. We should be so lucky. Even under normal circumstances, the other Four Eyes just feed up to the United States, which feeds down what little it wanted us to know.
But one of those Eyes is Canada, which may indeed have doubts about someone who was on Ukraine's Myrotvorets kill list, but which may be disinclined towards any representative of the Administration that openly wanted to annex it. Canada, Greenland, Panama, and now Gaza. For where would we next like to see Donald Trump make a play? They do seem to be getting smaller each time, so the Hands Off San Marino Committee should already have been formed in anticipation.
Canada, Greenland, Panama and Gaza are showing more signs of independence than Britain, how embarrassing is that?
